Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

What is 30 Day Breakaway?

This brand new at home workout program takes you from the couch to a 5K in just 30 days, while teaching you how to incorporate weight training to help prevent injury, run faster, and build more endurance.

But it's SO much more than your typical couch-to-5K program.

30 Day Breakaway is Beachbody’s FIRST EVER fitness program designed to be taken outside. It’s a running and resistance-training program that was created to not only teach you HOW to run, but to help you build your strength and stamina to complete a 5K on Day 30.

I have a confession to make: I’m not a runner. Truthfully, I've avoided running my whole life. I never learned the proper technique (and didn't even realize there was one), so it just felt awkward and embarrassing In fact, when I was 24 years old and newly engaged, my fiance and I entered a 5K run in honor of his uncle. Not knowing the fundamentals of running, I finished the race humiliated as my 65 year old father beat me to the finish line. After that, I hung up my running shoes and started telling people, “I don’t run unless a bear is chasing me." And in Texas, there aren't many bears chasing me. Running another 5K certainly wasn’t on my 2020 Bingo card, but with all the newness of 2020, I decided why not do my first 5k in over 20 years! And I’m super excited about it thanks to a new training program called 30 Day Breakaway that is releasing this month. I've discovered the top 6 reasons we should all be running (even if it's a slow, steady pace): 1. Runner’s high. They say there is a type of euphoric feeling afterwards called a “runners high”. With all the craziness in the world, who couldn’t use a little endorphin boost and stress relief? 2. It’s good for our bodies. Idialis Velazquz,, the trainer who created the new 30 Day Breakaway program, says, “Our bodies were made to run.” Running increases blood flow and oxygen throughout the body. 3. Sense of accomplishment. Setting a goal and achieving that goal is good for anyone at any age! 4. It helps you lose weight . Need to lose the Quarantine 19? This might be your answer! 5. You can run for a cause. So many aren’t physically able to run. An amazing amount of money can be raised for a good cause! 6. It gets you outside! We’ve been cooped up in our homes with virtual learning, working from home, and tv binging for too long. Fresh air is in order! It’s hard to look at these 6 reasons for running and not want to instantly go out to purchase some new running shoes, right? Gotta run! (pun intended) Stephanie

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
