Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

Love Your Body: 28 days of building body confidence through biblical truth and habit journaling

I've had the privilege of helping women with their health and wealth for almost seventeen years. Part of that journey has been pointing women back to Jesus when it comes to being healthy physically, financially, and mentally.

While sitting in church one morning in early 2023, the Lord gave me the idea to create a devotional, along with my team members, to use to help us transform our body image and mindset through God's word, as well as being mindful of tracking our healthy habits.

Six weeks later, the devotional entitled Love Your Body was released! This 28-day devotional goes along with BODi's fitness platform but you can also work through it on your own.

I'm so grateful to offer this book to you as a resource on your journey of allowing God's word to transform our minds!

We all have struggled with seeing a work of art in the mirror.

Whether it’s picking at our appearance, struggling with food or playing a broken record of negative self-talk in our heads, we have all struggled with something.

We all want to feel strong.

We all want to be happy.

We all want to truly love the beautiful body God gave us.

I believe you cannot have true physical health transformation without God. Your mindset and identity are key ingredients to sustain good health. Every client who has experienced sustainable life changing results believes that too.

Adam and Eve loved their bodies before they ate the forbidden fruit. They walked around naked and totally unashamed of their body. They had purpose and meaning in their life. Then, they ate the fruit.

“When the cool evening breezes were blowing, the man and his wife heard from the Lord God walking about in the garden. So they hid from the Lord in the trees.”

Genesis 3:8 NIV

This is when shame and embarrassment of our body came into the world. The evil one uses this tactic to try to destroy you every day. Some days, it feels like he is winning. It is time to stop the body shame game. It is time to win because you were created for more. Body shame hinders us from being the person God wants us to be and doing things God has called us to do. Shame makes us feel stuck, depressed and hopeless. This devotion is here to help you feel freedom from shame.

We are on a journey to combine mindset, nutrition, and fitness with a movement we call health esteem.

Health esteem is a new category of health and wellness that integrates loving who you are right now while also loving the direction you are moving towards. It is a place where it
always feels good to be you.

There is no losing or failing when you are falling in love with the journey of becoming all God created you to be. As you focus on who God says you are each day in this journal, our hope and prayer is that you will find more joy and feel confident. That joy and confidence will start to create a ripple effect that will reach all aspects of your life.

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
