Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

Four months ago, I couldn't have imagined I'd be writing a blog post about our favorite face masks but here we are.

It seems that masks are going to be a part of our life for a while. Right now they’re necessary attire for most places of business and even gyms! That makes me even more thankful I workout from home.

If we’re going to need to wear them, it’s important they help us feel as comfortable and least claustrophobic as possible. Cute is a bonus!

With my boys heading to college soon and the news that they will be required to wear masks basically at all times while there, I decided to do some research into which masks are favorites.

By research, I mean, I collected feedback from my 4200+ Facebook friends because their responses are better than any google search! They are always honest and their reviews are great!

CUTE MASKS
Ok, my boys aren’t worried about cute masks, but I certainly am and I know other women are as well!
I had the mask I'm wearing in the photo above fashioned for only $6 by the lady who altered my dress.

I have a feeling having matching masks is going to be all the rage this fall. In fact, I talked to some college sorority girls about recruitment week and they suggested having a mask match your outfit when going through recruitment week!

Here are some other cute ones I found or were suggested to me:
Johnny Was These were the first masks I saw advertised and if you’ve ever seen their patterns, you know they are super cute.

Etsy is a great place to find some hand-crafted ones. One Facebook friend found these to be their favorite. Another friend had a neoprene one made that had her monogram on it-so adorable and looked really comfortable!

Brooke Wright also has some great patterns to choose from.

GIVE BACK
With so many struggling right now, why not purchase a mask from a company that gives back?

Mask4Aide donates a mask to a healthcare worker or frontline worker in need for every one purchased

Joah Love could be on the CUTE and the GIVE BACK list. These look very comfortable with the way they attach around your ear. Get your favorite style before they sell out!

VistaPrint seems like an odd company to purchase a mask from. Don't they create business cards and such? However, their masks are said to be really comfortable. And for every reusable mask you buy, Vistaprint gives a portion of sales to support local small businesses impacted by the coronavirus.

STRAIGHT FORWARD
Just need a basic mask? There are several to choose from.

StringKing is known for its lacrosse, hockey, and baseball gear but they’ve pivoted during this time to produce masks. They come in two types: cloth (in 3 sizes) and 3-layered. They are what a lot of boys are liking to wear because they are comfortable. Comfort is important when you are going to be wearing them every day.

UTOTEBAG has reusable and washable masks that include a breathing valve. For those that want a breathing valve, this is perfect!

Golovejoy is a great facemask/neck gaiter that is breathable and not sweltering. They draw sweat away from your face and dry quickly.

Have you found a mask you love that isn’t on this list? I'd love to hear about it!

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
