Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

I watch The Bachelor/The Bachelorette. Don’t judge. I think it’s a fun show to watch. Trashy, yes, that too. I told my kids it was research to help them in their dating lives of what red flags to look out for. Ha!

The recent Bachelor season just ended and it has just rubbed me the wrong way. I’m not here to perpetuate a cancel culture, I’m here to create a cheerleading culture.

Let me tell you about my team’s cheerleading culture.

Last June, when the racial strife was at its peak, I asked two of our black team members to help our white team members understand how we could do and be better. It was a beautiful conversation and the two women had nothing but grace, patience, and kindness towards our ignorance. Their response moved us toward change and understanding.

After summer came election season. When some of our team members voted differently than others, we respected each other's differences and continued on our mission to help people with their health goals.

Recently, on a Zoom call, a couple leaders confessed to feeling isolated and not enough because of the toll the pandemic had created. I watched as all the leaders lifted each other up, pointing out what each other were doing right, cheering each other on!

We allow for mistakes.

We believe the best in others.

We practice patience.

We love in our differences, even when they drive us batty and we feel like throwing a “bless your heart” their way.

We acknowledge we are growing into the people we were created to be and sometimes that means stumbling along the way.

We give each other grace upon grace because we all need it.

No one wins in a cancel culture. Everyone wins in a cheerleader culture!

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
