Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

Cabo is probably my favorite destination, although it’s hard to choose.

After watching Nick and Jessica on The Newlyweds Travel to Cabo, I dreamed of someday going to this magical destination. Fifteen years later, I was finally able to go and I’ve been back 11 times in the past 7 years--I might be a little obsessed.

People ask me all the time where I like to stay so here are my favorites and why:

HOTELS

This is the resort I’ve stayed at the most because it’s my favorite in all of the world. The service. The view. The food. The rooms. There is nothing like it. In fact, you might not want to travel here because you’ll be spoiled forever and nothing will meet your expectations after experiencing it. Hurry and book it as I hear they are going to shut down for renovations soon.

This is where Nick and Jessica stayed when I watched that show almost 22 years ago. We stayed there last May and the service was impeccable, almost too good...like we kind of felt awkward. It had such lush vegetation which was beautiful and was in a different part of Cabo, near San Jose del Cabo instead of Cabo San Lucas. It was fun to go into San Jose del Cabo and walk around.

I’ve hosted two groups here. For an all inclusive, the food was really good but the service the first time was much better than the second time. The rooms were nice and the staff was very friendly. I love the size of the resort, too.

This was a lovely hotel and the first hotel we stayed when we went to Cabo the first time. We actually stayed here two nights and one night at the Resort at Pedregal because we could only afford one night at the Pedregal back then. The food was good and the rooms were nice.

We rented a Cabo for an incentive retreat. It was a really nice, smaller property and you could walk to The Office from this property. We were able to cook in our condo and if you don’t need room service but want to feel safe and close to town, this is a perfect location.

This is an all inclusive resort. Although our room had a spectacular view, it wasn’t my favorite as I don’t love all inclusive resorts. I also don’t love large resorts and this one is pretty large. I’ve heard their sister property Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is more my speed--adults only, all inclusive.

My Favorite places to eat:
The Office: Most of the time, we eat at whatever resort we are staying at but most of my trips have included at least one meal at The Office. Definitely go at Sunset!

Quivira Steakhouse: When we stayed at the Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, we had a lovely meal here. It had gorgeous views.

El Farallon: Most spectacular restaurant! This restaurant is situated in the rocks and the waves crash all around you. Be warned, if you don't like seafood, there aren't many options (which is what this non-seafood eater found out).

My favorite things to do:
Well, my favorite thing to do is to sit poolside and hear the waves. You will find me doing that most of the time.

I highly suggest going on a boat to the arches. Even better, book a Sunset Jazz cruise. The Office has a glass bottom boat you can take which is an economical way to see the arches.

Although I'm sure some others on my Top 10 list are prettier, I love Cabo because it's easy to get to, the people are super friendly, the food is amazing, and the scenery is beautiful.

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
