Weight loss for pre-empty nester women who don't like working out

Ever feel like your body could use a tune-up? We put our bodies through SO much. Lack of sleep, stress, poor nutrition all take an enormous toll on our system. Most of the time our bodies just keep plugging along at a sluggish pace, perhaps even with some tell-tale signs along the way that things aren't quite right.

In April of 2012, I was asked to be a part of a test group for a new cleanse that Beachbody was launching. It was presented in a way that made sense to me. It was about gently removing the toxins and animal products that your organs had been storing up for years while still consuming three meals a day. Basically, on this 3 week cleanse, I’d be slowly transitioning to a vegan diet.

What didn’t make sense was the word VEGAN. I had heard that word before but didn’t know what it meant. Remember, this was 2012 and long before vegan items on a menu were highlighted and restaurants that were solely vegan weren’t even a thing.

For those of you who are unclear about what vegan means, a vegan diet is free of ALL animal-based foods such as meat, dairy products, eggs, and even honey. One vegan friend put it like this: If it has a face or a mother, I don’t eat it.

Hold the phone...no dairy or meat? For 21 days? How will I survive? I’m a Texan and we like our meat!

But the desire to “clean out my system” after a stressful season of moving to a brand new state and also to be part of this exclusive test group for the Ultimate Reset intrigued me. I could do anything for 21 days, right?

So I said yes, and over the next 21 days, I began to wean myself from animal products and eventually grains (the last 7 days are grain-free) with step-by-step instructions and recipes to guide me along.

I have to confess, I complained the whole 21 days. I like my meat and I don’t do well with change! However, I did like the results I was getting. I was feeling better and I was learning to make vegetables in a way that actually tasted good. Each day I was excited to try new recipes and my picky palate was expanding.

When the 21 days had ended, I not only felt “cleansed” but also had a whole new world of foods that I was excited to continue to eat and still do to this day. I don’t eat a vegan diet but I definitely eat more plant-based and it doesn’t seem so scary to me. I was also able to see what foods don’t help my body feel the best.

After we return from our spring break trip, my husband and I will do the Ultimate Reset again for the 4th time. I feel like I need to restore my body to it’s “factory setting.” And with all of the vegan options out there as well as the awesome online community of others doing the same program, I know that we won’t feel uneasy as I did in 2012.

What if you could restore your body to it's "factory setting?"

Some other benefits include:
>Improved sleep
>Restored energy
>Mental clarity (no more brain fog!)
>Improved digestion
>Weight loss

Here are some of my friends who have done the program recently:

Susan:
This program has definitely opened my eyes to issues that I never took note of before! My body can’t handle everything that, prior to this program, I was putting in it. These last 3 weeks have shown me what my body needs and uses, and has allowed me to eliminate those foods that have been holding my health back.
I lost 9.4 pounds and 8.5 inches!!!

•My stomach issues went away
•My hormones are back on track
•My skin became clearer
•Energy levels increased
•Sleep increased
•Increased water intake
•Increased the range of my diet-more fruit and vegetables

Tricia:
When I decided to take on the Ultimate Reset, I was feeling so uncomfortable in my own skin, and it reminded me of when I first started my fitness journey. Tight clothes, not as energetic as usual and just very blah!
At first, I felt overwhelmed, but having my coach for accountability was a major help. Once I had gotten to the end of my 3rd week, I could feel a major shift in my outlook, my mental clarity, and I was even sleeping better.
I highly recommend this to anyone who really wants to give their body the attention and care it deserves - you will not be disappointed!

So what about you? Time for your own tune-up?

You will LOVE how you feel after 3 weeks of the Ultimate Reset and you won’t be alone!

There was a recent post in my neighborhood Facebook group that read: In search of a unicorn: Remote, work-from-home, part-time job Make my own hours Not MLM Not cold calling I've done Door Dash before but don't want to put any more wear/tear on my car. I'm an efficient typist. I have 13+ years of self-taught graphic design (Photoshop & Illustrator) experience. I'm tech-savvy, creative, and I learn quickly. Any ideas? It made me wonder why Network Marketing/MLM jobs get such a bad rap? I get it, I used to avoid the lady at my church who always wanted me to have a home party for her. And, I said “no” to all the people who introduced me to their opportunities. A few bad apples might have left a bad taste in your mouth too. However, I remember reading a book about Mary Kay Ash when I was in elementary school. The business she created allowed her to be present for her kids while also building a business. That was something I always desired. And the business model she created also made sense. It was a lot of people coming together to do a little which compounded into something big. As a stay at home mom, I was getting tired of being strapped financially and I wanted some play money. I didn’t want to work outside of the home because my kids were my priority and I wanted to be fully available to them. I was approached by my BFF about a business. At first, I said no and began to avoid her like the lady at my church. But, then I started to become curious about the business opportunity. I’d seen how well the products worked for my BFF and her husband. And, I remembered Mary Kay Ash’s network marketing business. This business opportunity wasn’t selling makeup, pills, or a face cream but a lifestyle change that would create a ripple effect for those who used the products. It was what I personally needed for my health and it made sense. I can tell you the truth about network marketing. It is the best business model I have found for women who want to work their own hours, has a small start-up cost, and allows them to leverage their time by working as a team. It takes hard work, diligence, and being coachable. You are the type who isn’t afraid to try something new and wants to create a ripple effect that can make an impact on generations to come. Let’s make a lasting impact together. More information about how you can join me in changing lives can be found here .
